Ilmington is a delightful Warwickshire village which lies at the northernmost tip of the Cotswolds, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Approximately 730 people live here, with many of the houses built with the local honey-coloured iron stone. It is known for the many footpaths that crisscross through the village and for the remnants of its historic, multi-variety apple orchards. The village boasts two pubs, a church, village hall, primary school, community shop and cafe and a large, well-supported playing field, which includes a playground and two tennis courts. Its active and sociable parishioners take part in a whole host of clubs and groups that are found in the village.
