Ilmington is a delightful Warwickshire village which lies at the northernmost tip of the Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Approximately 730 people live here, with many of the houses built with the local honey-coloured iron stone. It is known for the many footpaths that crisscross the village and for the remnants of its historic, multi-variety apple orchards. The village boasts two pubs, a church, village hall, primary school, community shop and cafe and a large, well-supported playing field, which includes a playground and tennis courts. Its active and sociable parishioners take part in a whole host of clubs and groups in the village.
Ilmington Parish Council usually meets on the last Thursday of the month. The next meeting is on Thursday 26 May 2022, 8pm immediately following the Annual Parish Meeting in the Village Hall.
Ilmington Parish Council consists of 6 councillors. There are two vacant seats at present. Please contact us if you are interested in becoming a councillor.
